TALENT HUNT
An exciting opportunity for aspiring musicians up to the age of 25 years!
Three reputed organizations MUSIC FORUM, BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN and SRUTI Magazine are joining hands to conduct its annual Talent Hunt to spot top voices this year in the field of Carnatic music from the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Applications are invited from young aspiring vocalists. Please send your Bio-Data along with an audio clipping by mail to musicforum.chennai@gmail.com. Last date of application: 12 September 2019.
Criteria
- Applicants must be below the age of 25 as of 1 November 2019
- The audio clipping must contain one classical kriti with raga alapana, neraval and swaras for a duration of maximum 25 minutes, and a light classical song. The applicants should not have performed at any of the three following Sabhas during the December music festival in Chennai – The Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, and Krishna Gana Sabha
- The selected candidates will be given a performance at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan during their 2019 season festival in Chennai.
