By BuzyBeeThe Swaramurthy V.N. Rao Memorial Trust celebrated the birth centenary of Swaramurthy V.N. Rao, along with the “Veeneya Bedagu” Music Festival from 29 July to 2 August 2015 in Bengaluru. Mysore V. Subramanya is the Chairman of the Trust.
Chief guest N. Murali, President of the Music Academy, Chennai, conferred the Veena Seshanna Memorial Award on violin vidwan M. Chandrasekharan and the Swaramurthy V.N. Rao Memorial Award on Carnatic vocalist M.S. Sheela.
